Overview
The MediWaxx Flame-Safe Lotion Candle melts into a warm, skin-conditioning massage lotion for professional spa treatments. The flame is put out before the lotion is applied, so no open flame is near the client during service.

Intended use: external use only, by trained spa, esthetic and massage professionals.
Safety and contraindications
Always extinguish the flame before pouring or applying, and test the temperature on your own skin first.
Fire safety:
• Never leave a lit candle unattended
• Burn on a heat-resistant, level surface away from towels, linens, hair and drafts
• Keep away from children and pets
• Do not move the candle while lit
Skin safety: do not apply to
• Broken, irritated, sunburned or infected skin, or open wounds
• Areas treated in the last 7 days with peels, laser, microneedling, waxing or injectables
• Eyes, lips or mucous membranes
Patch-test on the inner forearm and wait 10 minutes for clients with sensitive skin or fragrance allergies. Stop use and wipe off if redness, itching or burning occurs.
Lighting and melting
1. Wash and sanitize your hands; prepare the client and cleanse the treatment area.
2. Place one candle on a heat-resistant tray within reach of the treatment bed.
3. Light the wick and let it burn until a pool of melted lotion forms across the surface.
4. Blow out or snuff the flame. Do not apply lotion while the candle is lit.
5. Wait about 30 seconds for the lotion to cool slightly.
6. Dip a clean fingertip or spatula into the lotion and test it on your inner wrist. It should feel comfortably warm, not hot.
Use one candle per client for hygiene; discard any lotion that has touched a client.
Applying the lotion
1. Pour a small amount into your palm, or onto the skin from a few inches away, keeping the candle over the tray.
2. Spread a thin, even layer over the treatment area with open palms.
3. Massage by hand or with the MediWaxx Kansa Wand, using long strokes toward the heart.
4. Add more lotion whenever hands or wand start to drag. If the lotion firms up, re-light the candle briefly, extinguish it, and test the temperature again.
5. After the massage, let the lotion absorb or remove excess with a warm towel.
Face: use a smaller amount and keep lotion away from the eyes and lips.
After use, storage and care
• Confirm the wick is fully out and no ember remains before leaving the room.
• Let the container cool completely before handling or discarding.
• Discard the used candle; do not reuse lotion across clients.
• Trim wicks of unused candles to about 1/4 in (6 mm) before lighting.
• Store unopened candles in their box, in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
• Keep different scents labeled so clients with fragrance preferences or sensitivities get the right one.
